Bag Filter Systems consist of both the bag being used and the housing that supports the bag during filtration.
Selection of the bag system depends upon
- Particle sizes to be removed
- Impurity loading of the fluid to be filtered
- Nature of the fluid in terms of chemical compatibility viscosity and specific gravity
- The mechanical design of the system including desired flow rate, operating pressure and temperature
- The nature of the process, batch vs. continuous - the required filter change out rate
